
Threat Intelligence Software Engineer, Cloudforce One
CloudflareResponsibilities
- Design, build, run, and scale distributed tools and services supporting cyber threat disruption and platform abuse.
- Develop data pipelines and services that collect, analyze, and expose threat intelligence, including TTPs and IOCs.
- Own software architecture, design, deployment, monitoring, stability, performance, and maintainability across the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Threat Intelligence, Trust & Safety, Legal, and Product teams to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
- Monitor and maintain production services and participate in on-call rotations, including possible after-hours support.
- Mentor and guide teammates while promoting well-tested, modular, and reusable code.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building large-scale software applications, preferably distributed systems.
- At least 3 years of experience working with threat intelligence or supporting a threat intelligence platform.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database systems such as PostgreSQL.
- Production coding experience with Go and/or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Rust, plus strong debugging, optimization, and testing skills.
- Experience with AI-assisted development and agentic AI workflows.
- Bonus experience includes DNS, TLS/SSL, HTTP, web security and access-control standards, Kafka, React, Kubernetes, and Redis.
- Interest in mentoring teammates and collaborating across technical and functional teams.
