Responsibilities
- Review requirements and specifications during sprint planning to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Build, recommend, and maintain frameworks for automated test scenarios.
- Create detailed test plans and test cases.
- Convert manual regression scenarios into automated test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate and reliably execute automated tests in CI/CD environments.
- Perform functional, non-functional, manual, integration, and regression testing.
- Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and thoroughly document software defects and enhancement requests.
- Provide concise defect reproduction steps and support development teams with issue analysis.
- Work independently to define and initiate QA activities within an Agile Scrum team.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of solid experience in software testing.
- Programming experience in Java or another related programming language.
- Hands-on experience with Git command line.
- Experience with the Rest Assured framework and API testing.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing types, tools, and processes.
- Computer Science, Engineering, or a related degree.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem analysis, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with project tracking tools and Agile ways of working.
- Ability to work remotely.
- Travel and tourism experience is a plus.
