Responsibilities
- Understand complex business domains, define effective test scope, and contribute to requirements analysis.
- Design, develop, and execute functional frontend tests and integration tests involving APIs and backend systems.
- Build and maintain automated tests using modern automation tools such as Cypress.
- Use AI tools and prompt engineering to generate test cases, analyze UI and API failures, improve exploratory testing, increase coverage, and generate test data.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, business stakeholders, and distributed teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and status, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software testing, ideally with web and API testing.
- Ability to understand complex business domains and identify business and test use cases.
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in JavaScript-based automation, particularly Cypress.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and backend validation techniques.
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools such as Cursor AI and GitHub Copilot is preferred.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
