Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test frameworks and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Develop test plans and test cases from project requirements and specifications.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development teams.
- Identify, record, and track defects through resolution using bug tracking tools.
- Maintain and enhance automated test suites as applications change.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing practices and code quality.
- Evaluate automation tools and techniques and advocate for improvements.
- Mentor junior QA team members and share automation testing best practices.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of software quality assurance experience with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, independent-work, and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter is preferred.
- A relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
