Base Salary
$130k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build tested, efficient, and maintainable full-stack software.
- Own features from concept and prototyping through production, support, and release.
- Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Develop frontend experiences, wireframes, prototypes, shared components, and testing frameworks.
- Use and validate AI and agentic development tools for implementation, testing, refactoring, and documentation.
- Define conventions and guardrails for AI-assisted development and select models based on capability, speed, and cost.
- Create software documentation, prepare releases, review code, and provide delivery support including outside business hours when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, testing, debugging, and maintainable software design.
- Experience working across both frontend and backend systems, including React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience building backend services, integrating RESTful APIs, and working with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Recent practical experience using AI development and agentic coding tools, including planning, implementation, testing, and refactoring workflows.
- Strong automated testing, code review, communication, independent-work, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Spring Boot or another modern backend framework, AG Grid, D3, testing and browser automation frameworks, WebSocket integration, cloud platforms, containers, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Interest in or exposure to financial markets or trading systems is preferred.
