Responsibilities
- Become an expert on Samsara’s IoT, AI, computer vision, and connected-operations products.
- Conduct efficient technical discovery, answer customer questions, and provide demonstrations and account coverage for the sales team.
- Explain device installation and deployment scenarios to prospects and customers.
- Educate customers on APIs and deploy scripts using the Samsara API to a testing environment.
- Advocate for account executives, prospects, and customers in internal technical discussions.
- Liaise between product and sales teams, communicate technical feedback, and enroll suitable customers in beta programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Preferred 1+ year of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or support capacity.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in one of cloud software, networking, or automation and control systems.
- Experience with hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles is a plus.
