Base Salary

$195k - $292k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug software development environments and software pipelines.
  • Document current and future DevOps processes and develop procedures that ensure data-pipeline integrity and reliability.
  • Build and maintain Linux and Windows computer images and manage software repositories.
  • Develop and execute system builds and deployments in System Integration Labs and development environments.
  • Support system design, software and hardware integration, testing, and upgraded capabilities.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with engineers on DevOps systems for integration labs, testing, and production.
  • Develop knowledge of system and software architectures and mission operations while supporting engineering and operations and maintenance task orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent STEM discipline with at least 12 years of experience, or a master's degree with at least 10 years, or a PhD with at least 8 years.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance, or willingness and ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • Background in software DevOps supporting both software and hardware integration.
  • Experience with automated builds and tests, quality gates, software quality, and CI tools.
  • Experience administering Jenkins and developing Jenkins pipelines.
  • Experience with network engineering, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and network protocols.
  • Knowledge of building and using Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with documentation and process development, Git version-control administration, and software development lifecycles including the V-model.
  • Preferred qualifications include Top Secret/SCI clearance, software development, DevOps, infrastructure as code, immutable operating systems, system administration, GitHub, SonarQube, Sonatype Nexus, Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, data analytics, network setup and troubleshooting, physical-network cabling, scripting, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, system architecture, and SIGINT operations.
