Responsibilities
- Architect and support proof-of-concept implementations and translate client requirements into integration designs.
- Run technical discovery with prospective clients and partner with Sales on technical questions and live opportunities.
- Provide hands-on technical support to client implementation teams, including troubleshooting integrations and advising on API and MCP usage.
- Create and maintain technical documentation covering implementation guides, API references, data models, and integration patterns.
- Design reference architectures, sample code, and integration accelerators for client onboarding.
- Translate positions, transactions, performance, and fee domain models into integration guidance.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to communicate client feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
- Maintain knowledge of Avaloq and other core banking systems that provide data to the platform.
- Contribute to client knowledge bases and self-service resources.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in financial-services technology.
- Strong expertise in investment and trading platforms, portfolio data, performance calculation, fee mechanics, and rebalancing.
- Proven experience in data architecture, solution design, and translating complex domain models into efficient implementations.
- Experience with event-driven, API-first architectures and modern integration patterns.
- Solid programming and scripting ability for demos, accelerators, and integration examples; Rust, TypeScript, or Python experience is suitable.
- Track record of producing clear technical materials for client engineers, executives, and other audiences.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills across technical and executive audiences.
- Experience supporting enterprise clients through complex implementations, ideally in banking or wealth management.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or another major cloud platform is a bonus.
- Experience with Avaloq or comparable core banking systems is a bonus.
- Experience defining technical documentation standards or information architecture is a bonus.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering and documentation tools, GIPS, performance attribution, or wealth-management regulatory reporting is a bonus.
