Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS environments.
- Build and maintain protective and detective controls for threat visibility.
- Develop detection engineering capabilities to identify attacker behavior.
- Lead cloud security investigations and incident response activities.
- Participate in on-call rotation for security incident management.
- Build automation to enhance security control scalability and effectiveness.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to embed security into cloud platforms.
- Develop and improve cloud security standards and best practices.
- Drive security initiatives from problem definition to measurable outcomes.
- Assess emerging threats and evolve defensive capabilities.
- Support secure adoption of AI-assisted software development tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cloud security or a related field.
- Strong experience securing and operating production AWS environments.
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles and attack techniques.
- Experience building or operating detection and monitoring capabilities.
- Hands-on experience investigating security incidents and leading remediation.
- Experience implementing security controls across cloud platforms.
- Strong programming skills for building automation and operational workflows.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code practices and cloud-native technologies.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to communicate security concepts and collaborate with engineering teams.
- A pragmatic approach to balancing security and engineering velocity.
