Responsibilities
- Design and own test strategy, test plans, and risk-based coverage across mobile, web, and API product areas.
- Build and maintain production-quality automated test frameworks and suites using mobile, web, and API testing tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with parallel execution, reporting, and release pass/fail gates.
- Perform functional, integration, exploratory, regression, API, data-integrity, offline, and synchronization testing.
- Validate SAP PM/MM and IBM Maximo workflows end to end.
- Contribute to performance, security, and accessibility testing with Engineering and DevOps.
- Manage test cases, test runs, reporting, defect tracking, and quality metrics.
- Mentor QA engineers and review test designs and automation code.
- Lead root-cause analysis for escaped defects and improve coverage for recurring problem classes.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Support, and customer-facing stakeholders to improve tests and product quality.
- Explore and implement effective AI-assisted testing approaches such as test generation, intelligent triage, and self-healing automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of QA or quality engineering experience in SaaS or product companies, including ownership of major releases.
- Strong hands-on experience testing Android, iOS, and web applications.
- Strong REST API testing skills, with OData validation preferred.
- Proven automation experience with Appium, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent, using Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience integrating automated tests into Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of test design, risk-based testing, defect lifecycle management, and quality metrics.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment and ability to communicate quality risks clearly.
- Preferred qualifications include SAP PM/MM, IBM Maximo, cloud device farms, JMeter or Gatling, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, TestRail, Allure, Sentry, AI/LLM-based testing, or ISTQB and automation certifications.
