Base Salary
$182k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the API and Kubernetes Gateways API stacks and their CRDs.
- Drive large-scale infrastructure migrations with no customer-visible regression.
- Manage networking and traffic at scale, including L4/L7 proxying and load balancing.
- Set technical direction and define engineering standards for the gateway stack.
- Mentor engineers and lead post-mortems while collaborating across teams.
Requirements
- Production experience writing Go.
- Deep experience with networking and traffic infrastructure.
- Extensive Kubernetes experience, ideally with Gateway API or Ingress.
- Strong grounding in TLS/mTLS and performance tuning of network-facing services.
- Proven track record of setting technical direction and leading initiatives.
