Base Salary
$116k - $152k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write secure, stable, testable, maintainable code with minimal defects.
- Participate in team design, scoping, and prioritization discussions.
- Invent, refine, and develop solutions to meet customer needs.
- Actively participate in the code review process and design discussions.
- Document software to ensure future developers understand the intention behind features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects thoroughly.
- Classify, store, and handle data in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Experience in writing distributed, highly scalable backend systems and APIs using Java.
- Experience in creating and maintaining mobile and web applications with React and/or React Native.
- Knowledge of release process best practices for APIs and services.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Understanding of DevOps concepts such as containers and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
