Responsibilities
- Design and implement deployment and reliability approaches using automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure, configuration, and networking as code.
- Enhance observability through monitoring, telemetry collection, and SLO-based alerting.
- Analyze service health using SLIs and SLOs to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Participate in on-call incident response, triage, post-incident analysis, and remediation documentation.
- Automate recurring operational issues and reduce toil and operational stability risks.
- Use and validate enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Understanding of SRE culture and principles, including service level indicators and service level objectives.
- Working experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, or CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with incident response, on-call participation, and structured post-incident reviews.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Experience automating repetitive tasks and managing configurations at scale with tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and enterprise-authorized AI capabilities used in SRE workflows.
- Preferred experience with AWS, resiliency and scalability patterns, observability, service mesh, load balancing, DNS troubleshooting, Kubernetes ingress and networking, certificate deployment, and Terraform modules.
- Preferred understanding of controls-focused operations, change management, audit support, stakeholder collaboration, and emerging cloud-native technologies.
