Responsibilities
- Own the personalization and ranking behind key product surfaces.
- Build user modeling that captures intent, preference, and propensity.
- Design the decision layer to balance competing objectives for user experience.
- Establish data and evaluation foundations for continuous learning.
- Shape the technical direction of ranking, recommendations, and personalization.
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on experience building production recommendation systems at scale.
- Strong ML fundamentals in engagement modeling, model calibration, and metrics.
- Experience integrating LLMs into ranking and personalization pipelines.
- Curiosity about reimagining personalization in LLM-native products.
- Prior experience setting technical direction for recommendation projects is preferred.
