Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day security operations under mentor guidance.
- Triage, document, and track security detections and incidents.
- Tune and maintain security tooling.
- Contribute to scripting and automation projects that streamline security workflows.
- Support risk assessments, gap analysis, and control testing.
- Produce reporting and metrics on security-program health.
- Assist with firm-wide security-awareness initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Interest in cybersecurity and eagerness to learn.
- Basic familiarity with Windows, macOS, Linux, and networking fundamentals.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to scripting or programming such as Python or PowerShell is a plus.
- Coursework or personal projects involving AI/ML are a plus.
