Responsibilities
- Design and develop the Control Server, API, and CLI for managing environment lifecycles.
- Build logic for automated rollbacks, hotfixes, and release patching.
- Develop automated provisioners for high-fidelity test environments.
- Implement Event Publishing for reliable environment state changes.
- Ensure the platform CLI and API are intuitive and well-documented.
- Collaborate with various teams to translate business requirements into automated workflows.
- Participate in production incident support as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience, focusing on APIs, CLI tools, or backend orchestration.
- Proficiency in Golang, the core language for control plane services.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems patterns, including idempotency and state machines.
- Expertise in managing cloud resources (AWS/Azure) via code for automated provisioning.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) or OIDC/OAuth2 flows.
- Strong focus on developer experience and handling edge cases in code.
- Ability to deliver work incrementally for feedback and iteration.
- Passion for ownership and accountability in delivering reliable systems.
