Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize a bold technical vision for identity and access management.
- Architect just-in-time access, zero standing privileges, automated access elevation and revocation, and policy-based authorization.
- Lead the abstraction and modernization of legacy Identity Governance and Administration components.
- Design contextual and adaptive security systems using device posture, network risk, and user behavior signals.
- Build developer-centric APIs and self-service Identity-as-a-Service capabilities.
- Ensure the quality, scalability, performance, operability, and implementation of technical designs.
- Serve as an authoritative expert and trusted advisor across technologies, platforms, and capability domains.
- Mentor engineers and product professionals while strengthening the organization’s technical expertise.
- Create technical communications, code samples, blog posts, and other knowledge-sharing materials.
- Balance multiple projects while contributing advanced technical knowledge and thought leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture required.
- At least 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns required.
- Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Preferred 10+ years of professional coding experience with Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Swift.
- Preferred 8+ years of experience across the full system development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Preferred 3+ years of experience with public or private cloud technologies.
- Preferred 1+ years of experience with identity and access management.
- Preferred 3+ years of experience modernizing legacy systems.
- Preferred 1+ years of experience with AI coding tools.
- Experience decoupling legacy monoliths, using Open Policy Agent or similar policy engines, and building resilient, high-scale distributed systems.
- Recognized leadership and expertise in identity, authorization, and Zero Trust architecture.
