Base Salary
$123k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver software features across Verily Workbench and Pre Platform solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify dependencies, coordinate delivery, communicate design decisions, and define requirements.
- Evaluate technical design options and propose solutions to software development problems.
- Develop software using Google Cloud, Go, Java, React, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- At least 5 years of experience as a software developer in an industry setting.
- At least 3 years of experience building cloud-based software on GCP, AWS, or Azure, with GCP preferred.
- Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Java, C/C++, C#, Go, or Python.
- Preferred experience with Go, Java, TypeScript, and/or SQL.
- Preferred experience designing and implementing cloud software using a commercial cloud provider, Terraform or similar IaC frameworks, and Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization technologies.
- Preferred education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, particularly HL7 FHIR or OMOP.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
- Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.
