Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality, documented, efficient, tested, and maintainable code.
- Improve application observability, monitoring, security, performance, and stability.
- Design and propose solutions for distributed systems and application architecture.
- Collaborate with product teams, stakeholders, and engineers to clarify ambiguous requirements and deliver incremental improvements.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews and ensure automated and end-to-end testing.
- Estimate and plan delivery timelines with stakeholders and product partners.
- Monitor and respond to production incidents.
- Lead projects, mentor and technically develop team members, and act as a technical role model.
- Participate in selection processes for engineers at the same or lower level.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or similar practical experience.
- Professional software engineering experience with Java or Kotlin.
- Experience with distributed systems architecture and development.
- Experience with technologies such as Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Advanced or fluent English.
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, or similar technologies is preferred.
