Base Salary
$69k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and support operational software components for air traffic control systems.
- Implement complex fixes and significant software enhancements with guidance from subject matter experts.
- Update software process documentation and work instructions to support high-maturity engineering standards.
- Participate in standups, sprint planning, feature development, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing.
- Collaborate with software teams, engineering domain teams, program management, leadership, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a STEM area.
- Experience developing in a Unix/Linux environment and using the command line.
- Strong software experience with C, C++, or Java.
- U.S. citizenship is required to access information under the applicable programs and contracts.
- Preferred: Agile experience, Git proficiency, Bash or Python scripting, software engineering internship experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
