Responsibilities
- Build reliable, reusable, and AI-ready data products for investment and enterprise use cases.
- Design and develop production-grade AI applications, agents, intelligent workflows, and multi-step orchestration using Python.
- Integrate AI capabilities, tools, retrieval, memory, and model services into enterprise applications, data platforms, and business workflows.
- Develop data pipelines, APIs, data products, distributed systems, and scalable platform services.
- Build and operate model-serving and GPU-based inference capabilities, including optimization for context windows, tokens, concurrency, throughput, and cost.
- Implement containerized, secure, observable, resilient, and production-ready AI systems.
- Create model benchmarking, data-quality, retrieval, RAG, agent, regression, and continuous-validation pipelines.
- Monitor and evaluate data, retrieval, model, and agent quality and use results to guide model selection, routing, releases, rollbacks, and production-readiness decisions.
- Independently validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, maintainability, dependencies, licensing, supply-chain risks, and enterprise standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software, data, AI, or platform engineering.
- Strong production development experience with Python and SQL, including object-oriented and asynchronous Python.
- Experience building and operating AI applications, data pipelines, APIs, data products, and distributed systems.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications and business workflows.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data contracts, quality, reconciliation, metadata, lineage, batch, streaming, event-driven, and API-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with large language models, embeddings, prompt and context engineering, RAG, AI agents, tool calling, structured outputs, and multi-step orchestration.
- Experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Pydantic AI, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with one or more model platforms or technologies including Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Vertex AI, Hugging Face, vLLM, Ollama, or Qwen.
- Experience with cloud data and AI platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or Snowflake.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code, automated provisioning, governed deployment, API-first and microservices architectures, containers, authentication, authorization, secrets management, and software supply-chain security.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, GKE, or equivalent container platforms, plus OAuth, managed identities, RBAC, and Microsoft Entra ID or equivalent technologies.
- Hands-on experience with data-quality, model-evaluation, LLM-evaluation, or AI-observability frameworks and with evaluation, testing, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Familiarity with MCP, agent-to-agent communication, enterprise search, semantic layers, ontologies, knowledge graphs, agent memory, document intelligence, multimodal processing, or human-in-the-loop controls is preferred.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, OpenInference, Datadog, Arize, LangSmith, MLflow, or Microsoft Foundry evaluation capabilities is preferred.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codex, or comparable tools is preferred.
