Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple product groups on distributed systems design, cloud technology layers, infrastructure code, and dependencies at scale.
- Lead by example and mentor engineers in producing extensible and maintainable code.
- Develop and evangelize engineering insights, best practices, and standards across product development and operations.
- Drive continuous improvements to product architecture, code, features, operations, and end-to-end use scenarios.
- Improve product fundamentals and architecture while sharing knowledge and code across teams and products.
- Provide technical leadership in test maturity reviews, static analysis reviews, meetings, on-call rotations, and incident response.
- Apply deep business and technical expertise to resolve major incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 6+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
Benefits
- The role requires a minimum of three days in the office.
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $119,800–$234,700 per year, with a separate range for specified San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area locations.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
