Responsibilities
- Build automated security detection and mitigation workflows with security engineers and data scientists.
- Design scalable, low-latency architectures for processing large datasets and security telemetry.
- Improve system observability, performance, efficiency, fault tolerance, and operational excellence.
- Build security detections and automated network and security controls to reduce customer risk.
- Raise software architecture, development, testing, repeatability, and automation standards.
- Participate in on-call support, typically one week every two months, including support for the European Sovereign Cloud.
- Mentor teammates technically and professionally and advocate for new technologies.
Requirements
- Professional, non-internship software development experience.
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least three years of non-internship software development experience using Java, C#, Python, or Rust; TypeScript is a plus.
- At least three years of experience with Linux operating system development.
- Must be a national of an EU member state.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: backend software engineering experience with applications processing large datasets such as network flow logs or security telemetry.
