Responsibilities

  • Build automated security detection and mitigation workflows with security engineers and data scientists.
  • Design scalable, low-latency architectures for processing large datasets and security telemetry.
  • Improve system observability, performance, efficiency, fault tolerance, and operational excellence.
  • Build security detections and automated network and security controls to reduce customer risk.
  • Raise software architecture, development, testing, repeatability, and automation standards.
  • Participate in on-call support, typically one week every two months, including support for the European Sovereign Cloud.
  • Mentor teammates technically and professionally and advocate for new technologies.

Requirements

  • Professional, non-internship software development experience.
  • Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least three years of non-internship software development experience using Java, C#, Python, or Rust; TypeScript is a plus.
  • At least three years of experience with Linux operating system development.
  • Must be a national of an EU member state.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: backend software engineering experience with applications processing large datasets such as network flow logs or security telemetry.
