Base Salary
$168k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical evaluation phases for deals ranging from 100K to 1M+ ARR.
- Conduct deep discovery to map prospect workflows and decision criteria.
- Design and execute hands-on proof-of-concepts using the prospect's data.
- Handle technical objections related to data architecture and integration.
- Present technical capabilities to C-level executives and translate them into ROI narratives.
- Partner with Product Management to communicate feature gaps.
- Work with Customer Success for smooth handoffs during implementation.
- Mentor junior SEs on technical positioning and demo best practices.
- Contribute to competitive intelligence on analytics tools.
- Develop reusable demo assets and proof-of-concept frameworks.
Requirements
- 5+ years in software pre-sales or technical account management roles.
- Comfortable with nuanced technical concepts and self-learning.
- Hands-on SQL experience for analyzing behavioral data.
- Proven track record of closing technical evaluations in competitive deals.
- Ability to present technical concepts to both engineers and business stakeholders.
- 2+ years of experience with product analytics or customer data platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with BI tools and event-based data models is a plus.
- Understanding of data privacy implications for analytics tools is beneficial.
