Responsibilities
- Rapidly prototype and ship full-stack applications that showcase emerging AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with research teams to translate new model capabilities into intuitive user experiences.
- Work with internal test users and external partners to gather feedback and validate product concepts.
- Design and run structured experiments to test product hypotheses.
- Document insights and guide successful prototypes toward full product teams.
- Advocate for user experience and product considerations during the research process.
- Provide feedback to research teams on model effectiveness and capability improvements.
- Contribute flexibly across Labs initiatives as organizational priorities and opportunities change.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building full-stack applications, including zero-to-one work in startup or startup-like environments.
- Strong technical skills across modern web development stacks such as React, Node.js, and Python, with comfort using APIs, databases, and cloud technologies.
- Ability to work independently and exercise judgment in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.
- Strong user-centric, experimental, and iterative product mindset.
- Effective communication skills and ability to translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive experiences.
- Strong candidates may also have experience with AI/ML products, large language models, AI/ML research collaboration, user research, B2B and B2C products, UI/UX, real-time applications, WebSocket implementations, or complex frontend interactions.
- A formal certification or education credential is not required, and direct machine learning or AI research experience is not required.
