Responsibilities
- Implement test automation practices across the software team.
- Establish quality standards, define quality strategy and quality gates, and monitor KPIs.
- Prepare and document test cases, test plans, test reports, and test specifications.
- Define test data and configuration sets and maintain them throughout projects.
- Configure software, hardware, and virtualization test environments.
- Tailor, develop, and execute automated test scripts using data-driven development.
- Develop and maintain mocks and stubs across software, hardware, and virtual environments.
- Collaborate with developers, project quality engineers, and DevOps engineers.
- Troubleshoot problems, isolate defects, and track issues.
- Integrate automated test scripts with DevOps engineering workflows and CI/CD.
- Participate in requirements analysis and project-level test specification definition.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Active CREA registration.
- Fluent English for collaboration with a global team.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with testing tools for web applications.
- Good understanding of QA best practices, including test scenario management and reporting tools.
- Experience with Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with the Xray test management tool.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to industrial protocols, platforms, and APIs including OPC UA, Profibus, and Modbus RTU/TCP.
- Understanding of Hardware in the Loop and Software in the Loop.
- Exposure to configuration management tools covering version control, bug tracking, change management, automated builds, and coding standards.
- Basic knowledge of monitoring and observability tools is a plus.
