Responsibilities
- Serve as the ROCm Feature Enablement Technical Lead for Client and dGPU programs.
- Drive pre-silicon planning, post-silicon bring-up, feature enablement, and system validation.
- Define and maintain feature lists, validation plans, test strategies, dependencies, coverage, and exit criteria.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, firmware, software, diagnostics, and validation teams to drive feature readiness.
- Lead issue triage, root-cause analysis, debugging, and fix verification during bring-up, validation, and production.
- Improve validation efficiency through automation, tool development, scripting, and process enhancements.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that strengthen AMD's validation methodology and capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of GPU architecture, system software, validation, and debugging.
- Hands-on experience with ROCm, Linux GPU drivers, HIP, AI or compute workloads, and GPU software stacks.
- Strong hardware and software debugging skills.
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, scripts, and automation.
- Experience using AI agents and automation technologies to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Strong communication, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
