Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance application systems using established applications development procedures and programming concepts.
- Analyze code and applications to identify enhancements, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
- Design, test, debug, install, and support application systems.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Identify and resolve issues using technical experience and established precedents.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts.
- Assess risks, maintain compliance with applicable policies and regulations, and escalate control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level applications development experience.
- Experience with React, JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing requirements.
