Responsibilities
- Develop and improve FPGA device modeling and physical database software.
- Work with AMD architecture specialists to improve future products and apply data-driven approaches to optimization.
- Participate in new FPGA and hardware bring-ups.
- Debug and fix existing issues while researching more efficient solutions.
- Monitor software and hardware trends, particularly algorithms and architecture.
- Build technical relationships with peers and partners and collaborate across teams.
Requirements
- Strong object-oriented programming background, preferably in C/C++.
- Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs.
- Experience developing for Windows and Linux.
- Ability to write high-quality, detail-oriented code.
- Experience with debuggers, source code control systems such as GitHub, and profilers is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
