Base Salary
$107k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with management teams to integrate functions, define system enhancements, and deliver new products and process improvements.
- Resolve high-impact application and business-process problems through detailed systems and industry analysis.
- Design, develop, test, debug, and implement robust, scalable, and highly available applications.
- Develop web technologies, APIs, web services, backend systems, and integrated enterprise solutions.
- Establish and apply coding, testing, debugging, architecture, and implementation standards.
- Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Assess and manage business, compliance, and technology risks while safeguarding the firm, clients, and assets.
- Provide technical leadership, interpretive analysis, innovative solutions, and project management.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
- Extensive experience with software application systems analysis and programming.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, React JS, REST APIs, multithreading, and Java/J2EE backend development.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience architecting integrated solutions with scalability, high availability, and consistency requirements.
- Experience developing APIs and web services using REST and SOAP.
- Fundamental database knowledge and experience with relational databases such as MSSQL or Oracle, or NoSQL platforms.
- Ability to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containers, and Docker deployment.
- Understanding of standard and enterprise design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks including JUnit, Cucumber, Jasmine, or Mocha.
- Preferred experience with high-speed messaging platforms such as Kafka.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery technologies and tools.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
