Base Salary
$125k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop web applications using React on the front end and Ruby on Rails on the back end.
- Build new features, enhancements, and defect resolutions for iCapital software platforms.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical design, peer code reviews, stand-ups, and the software development process.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership to Salt Lake City team members.
- Collaborate with Product Management to detail requirements, review work in progress, and address issues identified through manual testing.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
- At least 5 years of Ruby on Rails development experience or 8 years of Python development experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
- At least 4 years of front-end and back-end test automation development using RSpec, Cucumber, or similar tools.
- At least 2 years of technical leadership or management experience.
- Understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes and AWS.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively, with strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
