Responsibilities
- Build and evolve clearing and settlement services using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Design and operate distributed, event-driven systems and APIs on AWS.
- Develop containerized services on ECS and serverless workloads on Lambda.
- Own software delivery from idea through production, including reliability, observability, monitoring, and operational support.
- Improve engineering quality, automation, reliability, maintainability, security, and developer experience.
- Translate complex financial processes into clear software models and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree in computer science, engineering, sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Strong experience building backend services with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design and software modeling of complex business processes.
- Experience designing and operating distributed, event-driven systems and APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud-native development, especially containerized and serverless workloads.
- Confidence with automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, production observability, and operational ownership.
- Quality and security mindset with attention to reliability and maintainability.
- Interest in complex financial workflows or willingness to learn them quickly.
- Clear communication and a collaborative, pragmatic approach.
