Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and operate medium to large software solutions for Amazon accounting needs.
- Build financial services and integrations that enable global receivables and transactions.
- Define high-level and low-level designs for scalable distributed systems using AWS technologies.
- Drive architecture and technology choices for FinTech accounting products.
- Establish engineering and operational best practices, improve code quality, and reduce operational costs.
- Partner with software engineers, technical program managers, functional analysts, and customers to identify and deliver software solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
