Base Salary
$154k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of technical research tasks while directing team priorities and schedules.
- Reverse engineer wireless and embedded systems to identify vulnerabilities and assess their security impact.
- Develop organized, maintainable proof-of-concept exploits and break complex deliverables into technical milestones.
- Analyze firmware, software protections, and wireless protocols with significant autonomy.
- Provide technical leadership while collaborating with CNO developers and hardware engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field with typically 7+ years of experience in a similar technical role.
- Extensive programming and scripting experience with C/C++, Python, and Assembly in Linux command-line environments.
- Expertise in reverse engineering and vulnerability research using IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra.
- Experience leading engineers or researchers and providing technical direction and schedule management.
- Proficiency in firmware analysis involving ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, or RTOS, firmware rehosting with QEMU, or advanced exploit development.
- Experience reverse engineering network communication protocols using Wireshark, tcpdump, or other hardware-level tools.
- Preferred experience with the Binary Ninja API, Ghidra scripting, JTAG/SWD, SDR frameworks, cryptographic security, secure boot, side-channel analysis, digital signal processing, RF protocols, and wireless security standards.
- Familiarity with Bluetooth, WiFi, 2G/3G/4G/5G, or similar wireless communication protocols.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is preferred.
- Active Top Secret clearance is required, with eligibility or willingness to obtain TS/SCI.
