Base Salary
$84k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement well-structured APIs and event-driven workflows for business-critical applications.
- Build and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services including ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, and RDS.
- Design data persistence solutions across relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Contribute to automated testing and repeatable deployment pipelines.
- Apply system design, performance tuning, optimization, security, unit testing, and test automation practices.
- Build tools and technical documentation that improve developer efficiency and team alignment.
- Support peers, share expertise, influence others within the area of responsibility, and collaborate to resolve problems.
- Work in a hybrid environment with defined in-person presence requirements, occasional travel, and possible extended hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, with at least five years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience.
- Experience with system design and object-oriented development.
- Strong experience with cloud technologies and data storage technologies.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery technologies.
- Experience with test automation and unit testing.
- Experience with software security.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, and data structures.
