Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP TM developments across SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
- Implement TM enhancements using BAdIs, Enhancement Spots, PPF Actions, Freight Order and Freight Unit extensibility, and BOPF.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into solutions aligned with standard TM processes and customizing.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and long-term maintainability through technical design, code reviews, testing, and defect analysis.
- Support implementation phases including testing, go-live, and hypercare.
- Collaborate with onshore architects, functional TM consultants, and customers in an international setup.
- Serve as a senior technical counterpart and coach junior developers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA ABAP development experience.
- Solid experience as an SAP TM Developer with strong SAP TM development and enhancement expertise.
- Experience with Freight Orders, Freight Units, Freight Bookings, transportation processes, TM integrations, and interfaces.
- Understanding of transportation planning, freight execution, charge management, carrier collaboration, event management, and tracking scenarios.
- Experience with Eclipse/ABAP Development Tools, CDS Views, OData Services, APIs, integration technologies, TM extensibility concepts, and BOPF.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management projects and the ability to translate functional TM requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with SAP Clean Core principles and modern S/4HANA development approaches is preferred.
- International project experience is preferred.
- Excellent spoken and written English, structured and quality-oriented work habits, responsibility, and strong communication skills.
