Responsibilities
- Develop novel multi-agent learning algorithms and scalable frameworks in JAX.
- Build and maintain simulation platforms and end-to-end research pipelines for experiments on DeepMind infrastructure and TPU pods.
- Translate mathematical concepts and research hypotheses into robust, production-quality code and reproducible experiments with Research Scientists.
- Lead engineering direction for complex research projects, establish code quality and maintainability practices, and mentor junior engineers.
- Optimize data processing, model training, results analysis, and the broader research workflow.
Requirements
- Experience in multidisciplinary research, guiding, and mentoring.
- Machine Learning experience.
- Preferred: PhD in Computer Science with a strong publication history.
