Responsibilities

  • Specialize in Kubernetes and other CNCF technologies.
  • Operate infrastructure primarily in AWS, with opportunities to work with other cloud platforms and physical servers.
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Argo CD, and Helm.
  • Manage and optimize Percona, MySQL, and MongoDB databases.
  • Build logging, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure with Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, and Loki.
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams to maintain a stable, modern, and scalable application platform.
  • Build new systems from scratch and support applications pursuing SOC 2 certification.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated competency in Linux and automation.
  • Good knowledge of networking and firewalls.
  • Proficiency with Ansible and Terraform.
  • Ability to write Bash and Python scripts and Helm charts.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and application monitoring and alerting.
  • Experience with MySQL and MongoDB databases.
  • Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving ability, and analytical skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow.
