Base Salary
$107k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and ship technical elements with support from mentors, managers, and team members.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to solve real problems for DoorDash customers.
- Learn about and contribute to the systems and products assigned to the intern.
- Participate in intern programming, social events, and a final presentation of summer learnings.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Have no more than two years of full-time work experience and graduate between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Be available to start in May or June 2027 for the summer internship.
- Have experience with databases and a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Have proficient experience with at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Python, Java, or Kotlin.
- Have experience writing clean code, using version control, and performing unit testing.
- Preferred qualifications include a prior software engineering internship or equivalent relevant experience, experience with AI-powered development tools, systems monitoring, live deployments, continuous integration, large-scale web applications, real-time technologies, service-oriented architecture, APIs, and technical projects or organizations.
