Base Salary
$124k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team responsible for embedded Linux development on space-based payloads.
- Lead the software development process and provide technical leadership to other software engineers.
- Develop embedded C/C++ software and applications on Linux.
- Develop software that interacts with firmware and IP-based router software.
- Develop kernel drivers and implement secure boot and secure storage techniques on Linux.
- Apply technical standards, identify process improvements, and champion new technology ideas.
- Manage cost accounts for complex projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for access to classified information are required.
- Experience leading a team of software engineers.
- Experience with Red/Black secure architectures.
- Experience developing embedded C/C++ Linux software, preferably using the Xilinx Versal tool chain.
- Experience with gRPC, Yocto, U-Boot, secure boot, secure storage, PCIe interfaces, Python, and CMake.
- Knowledge of PCIe enumeration and root complex concepts.
- Experience developing software that interacts with firmware and IP-based router software.
