Base Salary
$124k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team responsible for embedded Linux development on space-based payloads for the SNS program.
- Lead the software development process and provide technical leadership to help position team members for success.
- Develop embedded C/C++ Linux software, including applications, kernel drivers, and software interacting with firmware.
- Develop software for IP-based routers and implement secure architectures, secure boot, and secure storage techniques on Linux.
- Apply technical standards and methodologies, identify opportunities for AI-enabled continuous improvement, and champion new ideas and process improvements.
- Manage cost accounts for complex projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field plus at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- DoD Secret security clearance at the time of hire and eligibility for access to classified information; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience leading a team of software engineers and leading software development processes.
- Experience with embedded C/C++ Linux software, preferably using the Xilinx Versal tool chain, and general C++ application development on embedded Linux.
- Experience with gRPC, firmware-interacting software, IP-based router software, Yocto, kernel driver development, U-Boot, secure boot, secure storage on Linux, PCIe interfaces, enumeration, and root complex concepts.
- Experience with Python and CMake, Red/Black secure architectures, and cost account management for complex projects.
