Responsibilities
- Conduct customer use case driven system testing for FlashBlade.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate test environments against customer use cases.
- Own and drive testing to completion by reviewing product requirements and designing test plans.
- Work with development and support teams to reproduce and root cause customer issues.
- Advocate for FlashBlade systems quality with a customer-first approach.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation, preferably in enterprise storage.
- Experience with flash storage is a significant plus.
- Good knowledge of file systems, protocols, and data replication.
- Strong automation skills and familiarity with tools like pytest.
- Understanding of customer deployment of storage systems is beneficial.
- Familiarity with application ecosystems and directory services.
- Experience in system software projects such as operating systems and containers.
- Ability to deploy and use third-party IO tools for testing workloads.
- Skilled in reviewing product design docs and authoring test plans.
- Experience in Agile, Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Integration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in development and testing of RESTful web services and backend APIs.
