Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated UI tests using Selenium or Playwright.
- Build and execute API tests using Rest Assured, including validation of HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON/XML responses.
- Use JUnit or TestNG for test automation and apply Java programming, collections, exceptions, and file I/O.
- Write and execute SQL queries for test validation.
- Integrate automated testing with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage source code with Git and GitHub and use Maven or Gradle for builds and dependencies.
- Troubleshoot test failures and collaborate with development and QA teams in a DevOps environment.
- Stay current with automation, AI agentic testing, and other emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in automation testing.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and practical Java experience, including collections, exceptions, and file I/O.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of JUnit or TestNG and at least one of Selenium or Playwright.
- Proficiency with SQL and Rest Assured for API testing.
- Strong expertise with Jenkins and competence with Git and GitHub.
- Familiarity with Maven or Gradle, Visual Studio Code or IntelliJ, Linux systems, and command-line tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
- Must be an immediate joiner and available for an in-person final discussion.
