Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and test features that expand the scale and scope of the Appian platform.
  • Work across Appian low-code, plug-ins, and the internal codebase to prototype innovative features.
  • Collaborate with global Product and Engineering teams and contribute to Appian’s product vision.
  • Write software in a full-stack web and mobile environment.
  • Design increasingly sophisticated features in small, tightly integrated teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field or degree.
  • Graduate profile with approximately one or two years of total experience.
  • Previous industry software development experience and/or internships.
  • Experience with React, JavaScript, Java, Python, open-source software, and Git.
  • Knowledge of programming concepts and software development best practices.
  • Ability to learn and implement new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and spoken English and communication skills.
  • Applicants should come from a Tier 1 or Tier 1/2 college.
