Responsibilities
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support.
- Lead design sessions, code reviews, coding concept discussions, and technical performance improvements across multiple teams.
- Translate customer and business requirements into technical requirements and estimate development effort, scope, capacity, and timing.
- Perform unit, integration, bug verification, release, and other planned testing activities.
- Coordinate production deployments, assess impacts, and help mitigate delivery risks.
- Write implementation and test specifications and produce comprehensive software documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and coaching to engineers and team members across levels.
- Participate in interviewing, candidate selection, and staffing decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent directly related work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience writing highly complex code and working across technical, business, and product teams.
- At least 3 years of experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, and microservices.
- Experience with C#, AWS or Azure, Entity Framework Core or a similar ORM, Web API, MVC, React.js, and SQL databases.
- Experience translating customer requirements into technical requirements and leading design, estimation, scope, timing, and capacity activities.
- Experience with code inspection tools, hiring and coaching team members, and cross-functional technology and business collaboration.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum software development practices and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
