Responsibilities
- Build and own accelerator codebases using Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Set contribution standards, review pull requests, and maintain architecture decision records for shared and country-specific implementations.
- Embed with ProServe and partner teams on live customer engagements to validate patterns, fix deployment issues, and improve production readiness.
- Operate demo and reference platforms that support sales conversations, partner delivery, customer demonstrations, and accreditation activities.
- Automate compliance evidence by mapping deployed infrastructure to NATO, NCSC, and national control frameworks.
- Create deployment guides, runbooks, architecture walkthroughs, accreditation evidence templates, and hands-on workshops for field and delivery teams.
- Deliver the accelerator roadmap in collaboration with the Product Owner, STL, ProServe, partners, regional solutions architects, technical business development teams, and AWS Security.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- At least 3 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience across applications and infrastructure.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including version control workflows, automated testing, code review, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation with Docker and ECS/EKS.
- Preferred experience in defence, national security, or government cloud environments, including multi-classification architectures, secure-by-design patterns, strict data separation, and a NATO-nation security clearance.
- Preferred deep DevOps experience with CI/CD pipeline design, GitOps, automated testing, release management, observability, audit trails, automated compliance evidence, and security posture validation.
- Preferred knowledge of AWS security services, EKS/ECS/Kubernetes, and event-driven serverless architectures across cloud and edge.
- Preferred experience with generative AI or RAG for compliance evidence extraction.
- Preferred experience with TAK Server/ATAK, geospatial pipelines, command-and-control systems, mesh, SD-WAN, overlay networks, contested environments, and austere field conditions.
- Preferred track record of building documentation, workshops, and partner certification programs for delivery teams in multiple countries.
