Responsibilities
- Create distributed storage systems customized to fit HRT’s needs.
- Stay informed about the current state of the art in storage technology.
- Understand the Research team’s storage and compute needs.
- Build for the next generation of research.
Requirements
- Proficient C++ experience is required, with daily use preferred.
- Experience with distributed systems, including fault tolerance and design trade-offs.
- Previous experience developing databases or distributed filesystems is ideal but not required.
- Ability to work productively in a Linux environment.
- Knowledge of UNIX operating systems and low-level performance issues.
