Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable, secure cloud-based applications and services.
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications and reusable server-side code.
- Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness while identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
- Implement cloud cybersecurity, security, compliance, troubleshooting, and preventative-action requirements.
- Understand Honeywell’s cloud offerings and service model and identify opportunities for reuse.
- Oversee, supervise, and review team-member tasks and manage end-to-end delivery for internal and external clients.
- Provide instructions, mentoring, coaching, and guidance to team members and junior colleagues.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in cloud-based development.
- Strong expertise in C#, Azure, .NET, MVC, web services, REST, and Azure PaaS.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory, Azure Table Storage, Couchbase, and DocumentDB.
- Experience developing C#/.NET applications using Web Forms and Microsoft SQL; C++ experience is an advantage.
- Strong design, development, and architecture experience with cloud services, event hubs, IoT hubs, Microsoft .NET, web services, and SaaS-enabled solutions.
- Experience completing at least one cloud or SaaS project lifecycle and designing highly scalable, fault-tolerant services.
- Mastery of cloud development, design, and architecture, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to lead by influence and coach indirect reports.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field is valued.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, plus strong leadership, project-driving, problem-solving, and continuous-learning capabilities, is valued.
