Responsibilities
- Monitor production health, respond to alerts, participate in on-call shifts, and resolve incidents.
- Document runbooks and postmortems and collaborate with development teams on reliability improvements.
- Build and maintain development tools, infrastructure, deployment automation, and Git- and pull-request-based operational workflows.
- Manage Docker/Podman services, networking components, infrastructure-as-code practices, and platform security controls.
- Operate and improve Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager, and OpenTelemetry-based observability.
- Administer PostgreSQL, including backups, recovery, performance tuning, and query troubleshooting.
- Build internal tooling and self-service capabilities that help developers move faster without sacrificing reliability.
- Monitor AI/ML inference endpoints, model-serving infrastructure, and infrastructure cost anomalies.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Linux systems administration and production troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience managing containerized services with Docker and/or Podman.
- Working knowledge of Grafana, Zabbix, and/or Prometheus, plus familiarity with OpenTelemetry.
- Experience analyzing logs, correlating events, and tracing issues across services.
- Knowledge of platform security, secrets management, access control, container image scanning, and supply-chain security.
- Comfort with Git-based workflows and pull-request-based infrastructure changes, including willingness to participate in on-call support.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Fluency in English and Estonian.
- Preferred: experience with Elasticsearch or similar log platforms, PostgreSQL administration, Ansible, Salt, Terraform, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, AI/ML infrastructure, model serving, inference endpoints, and incident-management tooling.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
