Base Salary
$194k - $267k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available Kubernetes platforms.
- Build and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, including EKS and RDS.
- Utilize Helm for automating application deployments to Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement Karpenter for dynamic scaling of Kubernetes clusters.
- Manage Istio for service communication and observability within clusters.
- Automate deployment and management of infrastructure and applications.
- Respond to incidents and troubleshoot system issues effectively.
- Design secure cloud infrastructure with appropriate access controls.
- Create and maintain documentation for Kubernetes platform operations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
- 4+ years of experience with Terraform.
- 5+ years of experience with AWS.
- Experience with multi-region cloud environments.
- Proven experience with AWS services like EC2, RDS, and IAM.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes platform management and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Helm for application deployment.
- Practical experience with Karpenter for scaling Kubernetes clusters.
- Expertise in managing Istio for service mesh functionalities.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
