Responsibilities
- Design and own end-to-end integration architectures connecting Oracle Xstore Point of Sale applications with enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain Spring Framework integration services and components supporting retail transactions, inventory, pricing, promotions, and customer data.
- Implement and optimize Oracle Database schemas, packages, queries, indexing, partitioning, and connection management for high-volume workloads.
- Translate merchandising, finance, and accounting requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Establish reusable standards for message transformation, validation, exception management, and idempotency.
- Define integration test strategies, test data, and automated regression coverage with quality engineering teams.
- Configure secure connectivity using encryption, authentication, and role-based access controls.
- Provide production support, root cause analysis, capacity assessment, and defect remediation for critical integration services.
- Document integration designs, data mappings, configurations, and operational runbooks.
- Drive continuous improvement of integration tools, frameworks, and design approaches.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of professional experience in integration development and architecture roles.
- Hands-on experience designing and building integrations centered on Oracle Xstore Point of Sale, including transaction flows, tender handling, and store-side data synchronization.
- Deep practical knowledge of Oracle Database, including relational modeling, indexing, query optimization, and stored program units.
- Strong proficiency with Spring Framework for scalable backend integration services, data access, endpoints, and exception handling.
- Understanding of retail processes including merchandising, price changes, promotions, and inventory movements.
- Exposure to finance and accounting concepts including general ledger posting, reconciliation, and settlement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed technical and business teams in a hybrid work environment.
- Experience mentoring peers and maintaining reliable, maintainable integration solutions.
